I'm Zach, aka “The Sprinkler Doctor”.
I specialize in repairing, trouble shooting, & designing irrigation systems. There are many goals I have for this company, but the main goal and reason I started Sprinkler Doctor is to educate, and raise the standard when it comes to irrigation in Corpus Christi.
I became a Licensed Irrigator in the Spring of 2018 & obtained my Backflow Testing License in Fall of 2021. I spent 2018-2021 repairing residential & commercial irrigation systems for Lee Engineering, a large irrigation & drainage company that services the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. The time I spent there was invaluable because I learned what it means to be an irrigation professional.
Ultimately, the choice is left with the owner of the sprinkler system, that is why I believe it is an irrigator’s duty to educate and inform their community on ways to reduce the waste of water, while maintaining a healthy landscape. Sprinkler systems are installed with the intention of lasting 30-40 years, which is why it is so important for me to raise the standard of an irrigation system, and ensure water savings for future generations.
Water is one of the most important resources we have, and it is the duty of irrigation professionals to keep water conservation in mind when repairing or installing sprinkler systems. The easiest and fastest way to save water is by using smart irrigation products such as smart controllers, pressure regulated spray heads, check valves, drip line, MP rotators, and similar products that can help save thousands of gallons of water every week. These products cost more than a base level system, but the water savings are exponential.
